Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Harpoon (the “Service”) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service. This is a V1 preview offered to a small set of friendly users; expect bugs, changes, and occasional downtime.

2. The service

Harpoon scans public job listings against criteria you configure, re-ranks results with a language model, and delivers short matches to your Telegram chat. You remain responsible for evaluating every listing before you apply.

3. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for your own job search.
• Don’t reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service or its output.
• Don’t submit criteria that target people, protected classes, or illegal work.
• Don’t use the Service to send spam or automated outreach to employers.

4. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. Job matches come from third-party sources we don’t control; listings may be stale, inaccurate, or removed at any time. We do not guarantee availability, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Harpoon and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for missed opportunities resulting from delivery failures, ranking errors, or outages.

6. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by signing out and deleting your account. We may suspend or end access — especially during the V1 preview — if continued use threatens the Service or other users.
